Contains exercises which attempt to improve on the concept of speed reading. Instead of purely reading faster and reducing comprehension this method aims to increase both speed and comprehension. The purpose of reading is to understand a concept, story or idea. So if you read each word out loud in your head mentally then your brain has to process this prior to you understanding this. This book tries to get you to look at groups of words and immediately picture them directly in your mind. Tried it for a bit, found if what I was reading is complex and am not familiar the words this method doesn’t really work but seems to work for simple text.
