Classic book that outlines experiences from being a prisoner in Auschwitz, author was a psychiatrist and neurologist so he deeply reflects on this.  Details the horrific daily life of living in a concentration camp, each day seems slow but years pass quickly.  Living with uncertainty and horrendous conditions such as torture are covered, then the book covers challenges faced after being freed.  The take home message for me is never to give up hope!
