Peace Is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life by Thich Nhat Hanh

Nice book about Buddhism & mindfulness. Contains practical things you can do to incorporate these principles in your life such deliberately breathing in for three steps whilst thinking of being at one with the Earth, then breathing out for the next three steps focusing on smiling. In addition if you see a red traffic light train yourself to smile!

Try to be at one with a river or the sky or clouds. Put yourself in other people shoes – rather than thinking about somebody being the problem they may in fact be a victim. (On a side not the other persons shoes is a good technique for negotiation, not the focus of this book)
