This short book is written by a writer who battles with procrastination and the requirement to actually finish things. Outlines the many distractions in life can interfere with well intended work plans. He suggests that professionals know how to delay gratification. Regarding achieving goals (in his case writing) has a few interesting concepts such as if you were the only human left on the earth would you do this task. Suggests that Arnold Schwarzenegger would still go to the gym (shows age of book) because he loves it. Some people may steal clothes if alone on the earth, because they love clothes. The key is doing an action for your own passion rather than undertaking actions because of what other people may think.
