Primary purpose of this book is not to be manipulated.  Contains some obvious things such as don’t pay for services upfront, ask for the bill or the cost first of a service.  If you do these things you are going to save cash in the long run. Know the person who can walk away easier has the upper hand, therefore watch out for the person with nothing to lose.

Don’t lend money to friends, instead give them a gift, or lend money to people you no longer want to be your friend.  People who borrow money are frequent lenders and tend to always overspend.
