The main bit from this book that anyone could immediately incorporate into their life is how to establish rapport.  This concept seems quite obvious when you write it down but relates to a ‘you’ and an ‘it’. Make the person feel like a ‘you’ (i.e. a person) rather than an ‘it’ (i.e. someone who performs a function) and you can establish rapport.
