Nice short book written based on Dale Carnegie’s classic teaching (How to Win Friends and Influence People). Revisits a quote from him at the start of each chapter then elaborates about this further.
Things like the importance of smiling are highlighted, the main content is about how to manage and interact with different types of people. Some people require encouragement or praise when diplomatically pointing out something they could do better. An analogy the book uses is people are more like chess pieces than draughts, everybody has different motivations, don’t treat everyone the same. Go about trying to help people fulfil their goals and enjoy your life!
