In essence count backwards from 5 to 1 to force yourself to take a desired action. Didn’t really gain much from this book & surprised was a hit. Author mentions (in detail) how she used this approach to get her out of bed in the morning and overcome nerves prior to her TED talk that propelled her to fame. Gives tedious examples and thanks for changing my life with this rule. Contains a very brief overview of NLP. Unless you are afraid to speak up in a meeting or get out of bed would avoid this book.
