Book goes into details about the history of violence and how fear motivates behaviour, outlines how companies use this knowledge to manipulate people. When compared with previous entertainment, like an eagle pulling a soon to be dead person’s liver out when re-enacting a battle the world does indeed seem much safer!

Some interesting dilemmas described such as the paradox and thought process behind making a pre-emptive strike.  Pre-emptive strike or crippling revenge are the options you have.  Describes dilemma about thinking about killing the wrong person or starting a war.

Interesting book, unlikely you will gain anything other than a bit of general knowledge from it.
