The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, a Leadership Fable by Patrick Lencioni

Five dysfunctions are:
1. Lack of trust
2. Fear of conflict
3. Lack of communication
4. Lack of accountability
5. Inattention to results of the team (including putting personal ego above the team)

Book demonstrates ways to overcome each of these dysfunctions.  Explores events surrounding a fictional dysfunctional company that is turned around when a new CEO arrives and implements successful changes.  You must overcome all five dysfunctions, otherwise the team will fall apart. Includes a trust exercise in which every team member mentions an aspect of their personal life such as their hobbies, childhood achievements, siblings, best or worst job. The leader does this first so that they appear genuine and vulnerable which can help build a trusting functional team.
