Excellent book that gives an overview of Buddhism and the Teachings of Buddha, lots of content would highly recommend if you’re interested in an understandable entry level guide.
Contains analogies and wise sayings; if you are able to repeat these or live by the meaning of these sayings am certain that your life and those around you would benefit. Saying such as if you are going to pick up a rose in the garden you must be aware of the thorns but focus on the beauty of the flower.
Interdependence is stressed throughout this book along and the difference between joy and happiness. Contains many analogies about growing seeds!
